Our Mission

Black Is a Team Sport (BIATS) is committed to uplifting Black business owners and building economic power in our communities. We believe that without strong economic structure, we can’t have a strong community — and that’s why we say: Black is a team sport. We don’t win alone. Through apparel, education, and cultural campaigns, we’re spreading a message: purchasing power without purpose is a losing equation. Let’s shift the way we value the Black dollar — together.

As part of our mission, we highlight and promote Black-owned businesses through interviews. We conduct in-person and Zoom interviews, and we also accept self-produced videos — as long as they follow our approved BIATS format. All interview and promotion inquiries must be submitted through this page. A member of our team will contact you using your preferred method. This service is offered at no cost.
